BC Book Prizes Soirée
Wednesday, April 6

Nominees will be celebrated at this free event that kicks off the festivities at Studio Records in downtown Vancouver.

BC Book Day At the Legislature
Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Judith Guichon, lieutenant-governor of British Columbia, MLA and house speaker Linda Reid and other MLAs will meet with the province’s publishers, authors, writers’ festival directors, librarians and booksellers. A proclamation will be read in the Legislature.

32nd Annual Lieutenant Governor’s BC Book Prizes Gala

Winners of the BC Book Prizes will be announced, and Alan Twigg receives the Lieutenant Governor's Award for Literary Excellence at the Government House in Victoria. British Columbia’s Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable Judith Guichon, OBC, will be in attendance.

A selection of authors will be part of BC Book Prizes On Tour. The author reading tour takes finalists to schools and public venues in many communities throughout BC in April.
