Presented by DigiBC: The Digital Media & Wireless Association of British Columbia

In 2009 a Swedish indie video game developer had an idea for a new game called "Minecraft". In 2014, with over 60 million copies sold, "Minecraft" was sold to Microsoft for $2.5 billion dollars.

Our city is home to both giant video game corporations and startup indie developers. It has the talent, creativity and passion – so can the world’s next big video game IP come out of Vancouver?

Join 5 video game company owners, studio directors, journalists and all-around creative geniuses for a frank discussion about whether a new Notch and Mojang are somewhere out there in the 604/778 area code. Can we make this dream become a reality?

Pizza & cold beverages included with your ticket purchase, plus video game door prizes to be given out!
