Exceeded service targets for client satisfaction with program service delivery and program effectiveness.

Processed a record 287 tax credit applications for domestic and international film and television production which contributed an estimated $2 billion to the economy through BC production expenditures.

Provided $625,000 to help 48 BC companies create new content for film, television and digital media.

Distributed $650,000, provided by the BC Arts Council, to 18 BC companies to create engaging interactive digital media content.

Provided $191,000 in export marketing support for 114 BC participants who attended 26 international markets, securing deals in excess of $16 million.

Awarded $1.2 million from Western Economic Diversification Canada to deliver a three year (2015-2018) trade and investment strategy to build the capacity of BC’s creative industries.

Provided $145,000 to BC’s music industry through Music BC’s Travel Assistance Program, international market initiatives and contributing to the association’s operating requirements.

Provided $107,500 to BC’s book and magazine industries by contributing to the industry associations’ operating requirements and projects undertaken by the Pacific BookWorld News Society.

Facilitated filming throughout the province which included provided $210,000 to support eight Regional Film Offices.

Participated in nine international trade missions to attract inward investment into the province and to facilitate export opportunities for BC-based companies.

Implemented Reel-Scout, a new and improved online location library, and delivered more than 315 location packages to attract domestic and international productions to film in BC.

Conducted research on the creative sector which included released the Music Sector Study, three Creativity Indexes and commissioned the Book Publishing Study.

Expanded our communications reach through our website, which was seen by 95,000 unique users generating more than 500,000 page views, and launched our presence on social media.
