New APTN Series TRIBAL POLICE FILES Filming in Lillooet BC

As a former police officer, Steve Sxwithul’txw has a unique perspective and unprecedented access to the communities of Stl’atl’imx Nation in Lillooet. The series follows the only Tribal Police Force in BC, as they put their lives on the line to keep their communities safe, healthy and proud.
Unlike the traditional cop shows, Tribal Police Files will have a unique balance of police interacting with its community members, yet highlight the beauty of its culture and lands. The series rides along with the officers as they respond to calls, not knowing the challenges that lie ahead. Tribal Police Files recognizes the incredible work of the police officers and instills pride in the healing and strength of its communities. The series will be translated into the traditional language of the Stl’atl’imx Nation.
Host and producer Steve Sxwithul’txw‘s previous series, Warrior Games won four Leo Awards: Best Information/Reality Series, Best Host, Best Screenwriting, and Best Cinematography. Tribal Police Files is executive produced by Patti Poskitt, (Warrior Games, Tempest Storm), directed by Mary M. Frymire (New Beginnings, For the Love of Elephants) and the director of photography is David Malysheff (Tiga Talk, Down2Earth 2).
