BC born singer/songwriter John McLachlan began writing and performing in folk clubs in 1979. Over the next 20 years, he presented his original songs about his own experiences and historical events in hundreds of theatres, festivals, clubs and schools.
In 2014, after a hiatus working in arts administration and graphic design, John returned to music. The first album he wrote and recorded after his hiatus was Call it Home (2016). He later worked on Wind & Bones (2017) and Time Broke (2018) with multi-instrumentalist Marc Atkinson.
Today, John is back performing in venues large and small. John’s inimitable stage presence, range of songs and genuine rapport connects with audiences of all ages.
His sound recording project, Time Broke, was recorded at The Barn on Hornby Island with Marc Atkinson.
