The influx of Canadian companies and delegates at FILMART is made possible through the partnership of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council in Canada, the BC Trade and Invest Office in Hong Kong, the Government of Alberta in Hong Kong and the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong.
Canadian content is front and centre at FILMART this year with the return of the Canada Pavilion. A special delegation of 22 Canadian companies will gain access to key business networks, identify partners and business opportunities, and take B2B meetings with producers, sales agents and distribution companies.
“We are thrilled to welcome over a hundred delegates from across Canada to FILMART this year,” said Robert Wong, Vice President of Creative BC. “The Canada Pavilion is the result of the robust and sustained collaboration between the federal government, provincial governments, trade commissions and agencies to empower Canadian creators in identifying business opportunities and collaborators from the global stage.”
Delegates are invited to attend special FILMART seminars and events to learn more about the Asian market and cross-industry initiatives.
FILMART is significant for its cross-media, and cross-industry focus. Global producers, distributors, investors, and buyers from the film, TV, animation and digital world use FILMART to launch projects, network with key industry players and negotiate deals.

Events and exhibits cover distribution, production and acquisition of film, TV, animation, digital entertainment, games, production and post-production services and film financing.
