Telefilm Canada in collaboration with Canadian Heritage is pleased to announce that Canada has been selected as the country of honour at The Frankfurter Buchmesse (Germany)- an international trading venue for content of all kinds, where leaders from global publishing meet partners from the technology industry and related creative industries such as film and games. The festival attracts exhibitors from over 100 countries, 285,000 visitors and 10,000 journalists and bloggers.
Within Frankfurter Buchmesse, THE ARTS+ programming specifically is a platform for some of the most innovative thinkers and practitioners in the digital, cultural and creative industries from around the world. Telefilm Canada and its partners will be curating Canadian content and thought-leaders to showcase as part of THE ARTS+ programming.
In the present context, the planning team is exploring alternative options to the major physical event, to ensure that all selected participants have optimal opportunity for exposure and business development efforts.
Interested parties can now apply to participate by completing the application, by no later than June 5, 2020.
