As a solo artist, Tissa is able to freely explore her effortless Soul/R&B sound, infusing it with the traditional Persian music her family has made for generations. With her deeply personal lyrics and uniquely evocative sound, Tissa’s upcoming releases are certain to capture the attention of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Tissa Rahim is based in the unceded ancestral territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
