This upcoming Fall 2021 iteration of the CCA will only be open to women producers or women-owned production companies working within scripted, unscripted and/or factual television production and development. Applicants should have a lead project that is either already produced and has aired in Canada or internationally, or in the advanced stages of development. The goal of the program is to find US partners or buyers for the project or the format.

This fourth cohort is scheduled to begin in Fall 2021 and will comprise of two weeks of virtual programming, taking place in late September and October 2021, followed by two additional weeks of in-person activity – one week in Los Angeles and one week in New York. In-person sessions are tentatively scheduled to take place in November 2021. Exact weeks and dates will be clarified upon acceptance into the program.

Throughout this three-month period, successful participants will have a unique opportunity to gain access to some of the industry's most influential television producers, financiers, distributors and talent in the US. Participants will take part in conversations with industry experts, networking events and one-on-one meetings. Only those who can commit to the full scope of the program should apply. Unfortunately, the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and the Consulate General of Canada in New York are unable to offer financial assistance for any travel or accommodation related costs of this cohort, but will handle the set up and coordination of all meetings and related CCA activities.

Please note: all in-person activity is pending the lifting of current US-Canada border restrictions. In the event of border restrictions remaining in place, all CCA programming would be strictly virtual.
