BC Vaccine Card Launch – Resources for Industry
In anticipation of the BC Vaccine Card launch, we are providing B.C.'s creative industries with information and resources from the B.C. COVID-19 Industry Engagement Table to help support your implementation.
Starting September 13, 2021, proof of vaccination will be required to access certain higher-risk social, recreational, and discretionary events and businesses provincewide to help protect people from COVID-19. With the BC Vaccine Card in place, businesses will be able to stay open and continue to serve their customers with a much lower risk of potential transmission.
Since the start of COVID-19, BC’s businesses have been a key partner in helping keep British Columbians safe and the important role businesses will take in the BC Vaccine Card program is appreciated.
This information is intended to support advance notice to businesses in order to be supported in beginning to check attendees' and customers' vaccination cards.
The resources provide information on the BC Vaccine Card process as well as visual references for conducting proof of vaccination checks. The resources are available at:
