Are you a sound engineer, music producer, or self-produced artist curious about how the science behind music, audio engineering, and the human brain truly interconnects?

Thanks to The Producers Lounge, you can learn firsthand about the practical theory behind it all through a free online masterclass event with scientist and music industry mainstay Susan Rogers. As with all 2021/22 Producers Lounge events, this presentation has been made possible, in part, via support from Creative BC.

The Producers Lounge ‘In Conversation with Susan Rogers’ event takes place online from 2 pm – 4 pm PST on June 4, 2022. Registration for the event closes May 31, 2022. This event is open to all.

About Susan:

Susan Rogers holds a doctoral degree in experimental psychology from McGill University (2010). Prior to her science career, Susan was a multiplatinum-earning record producer, engineer, mixer and audio technician. She is best known for her work with Prince during his peak creative period (1983 – 1987), but production/engineering/mix credits also include David Byrne, Barenaked Ladies, Michael Penn, and Jeff Black. Susan is currently a Professor in the departments of Music Production & Engineering and Liberal Arts at Berklee College of Music, Boston, where she teaches psychoacoustics, record production, and analog recording techniques.
