Sustainable production efforts in British Columbia were formalized 10 years ago through the Reel Green initiative, a resource centre with a collection of best practices to help productions reduce their environmental impacts and improve their overall environmental footprint.

CBC invites BC creators, writers and independent producers to attend a morning of learning and networking with CBC programming executives representing drama, comedy and factual genres.
There will be a moderated session to share insights on CBC’s commissioning priorities, the pitch process, and how independent producers and creators can best collaborate with CBC. Following the panel and a coffee break, there will be an opportunity for attendees to participate in 10-minute one-on-one speed networking sessions with the CBC programming executives.
