Over the last 11 years, Film Bazaar has become a must-visit event for filmmakers to present their stories to the international film industry. Each year more than 200 films from across South Asia are pitched to various sales agents, buyers, film festival programmers and financiers from all over the world. At the heart of Film Bazaar is the Co-Production Market, which provides a platform for curated projects with South Asian themes to find financial and artistic support. Last year, 178 international delegates from 38 countries attended the event.
