For over 25 years, the Congress has been a must-attend gathering for producers, broadcasters and distributors working in science, history and non-fiction media. The event features keynotes by industry leaders, an Innovation Expo, and tailored networking events. The event will welcome broadcast and production leaders, along with content creators from a wide range of tech and innovation industries.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Creative BC will accept applications from BC resident documentary producers. Priority will be given to producers who have, at a minimum, one “produced by” documentary credit and have a slate of projects in development, production or for distribution that are suitable for seeking international partners.
Creative BC will be able to provide travel support for up to two individuals in total. Creative BC will provide 50% of final eligible travel costs up to a maximum of $2,000 to offset market registration, travel and accommodation costs. Only one producer per company or project may apply.
HOW DO I APPLY?
The guidelines to the Passport to Markets program are available on the Creative BC website.
Applications will be reviewed competitively and producers will be notified via email of funding decisions.
