The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market runs in conjunction with the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival which is one of the most important short film festivals in the world. The Short Film Market is a business meeting and marketplace dedicated to short films for the exchange between representatives of film, media promotion bodies, short film production, distribution companies and technical industries. An average of 6,500 new titles are registered each year for the Short Film Market and are made available for viewing on 40 video terminals.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Creative BC will accept applications from BC resident producers who meet the following criteria:
- Must have one produced credit (broadcast or theatrically/ festival released) in short film, feature film, television or digital media; and
- Must have at least one short film in development.
Creative BC will provide travel support for up to two BC residents for up to a maximum of $2,000 per person to offset market registration, travel and accommodation costs. Support is only available to one individual per company.

The guidelines to the Passport to Markets program are available on the Creative BC website.
Applications will be reviewed competitively and producers will be notified via email of funding decisions.
