The Kidscreen Summit is renowned as the kids entertainment industry’s most important annual event. In 2018, the conference welcomed nearly 2,000 attendees from more than 50 countries. Top executives attend to take advantage of the year’s best business networking, and to engage in critical dialogue on issues that affect the industry. The Kidscreen Summit is a must-attend event for content creators, producers, distributors, broadcasters, licensing professionals and marketers working on intellectual properties for children and tween markets.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Creative BC will accept applications from BC resident producers who meet the following criteria:
- Must have who one producer credit on a completed production (broadcast or theatrically/festival released) which is at minimum a half-hour broadcast; and
- Must have at least one project in development aimed at children which is suitable for international co-production partnering or financing.
Creative BC will provide travel support for up to five BC residents for up to a maximum of $ 1,500 per person to offset market registration, travel and accommodation costs. Support is only available to one individual per company.
HOW DO I APPLY?
The guidelines to the Passport to Markets program are available on the Creative BC website.
Applications will be reviewed competitively and producers will be notified via email of funding decisions.
