Accepting Passport to Markets applications to Beijing International Film Festival from March 2nd to March 13th.

WHAT IS THE BEIJING FILM MARKET?

 

A key event of the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), the Beijing Film Market focuses on exhibition, promotion, exchange and communication between domestic and international producers.  The BJIFF is in its eighth year and is a market-oriented film festival that serves as a significant platform for the Chinese film industry to connect with the international film community. 

WHO CAN APPLY?       

Creative BC will accept applications from BC resident producers who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have projects in development with all, or partial, financing in place;
  • Must have a significant slate of projects suitable for Asian co-production or distribution; and
  • Must have, at a minimum, one produced credit on a completed (broadcast or theatrically released) film or television project.

Creative BC will provide travel support for one BC resident for up a maximum of $2,000 to offset market registration, travel and accommodation costs.
