WHAT IS AN OFFICIAL SHOWCASE?
Each year Folk Alliance International selects artists to perform 20-45 minute showcases during the annual conference. At the 2014 conference, more than 250 artists from all over the world showcased for over 2300 delegates, including 1000 industry professionals and presenters.
HOW CAN I APPLY, AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
You can apply in one of three ways, with the following associated costs:
1) $40 - Apply online with Sonicbids
2) $40 - Apply online with FAI ONLINE SHOWCASE ENTRY FORM
3) $45 - Mail CD, bio, and 2015 SHOWCASE ENTRY FORM to:
FAI 509 Delaware St. #101, Kansas City MO 64105.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?
Deadline for all entries is NOVEMBER 4, 2014
WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I’VE BEEN ACCEPTED OR NOT?
Every applicant will be notified via email by December 16, 2014.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ACCEPTED APPLICANTS?
Accepted showcase applicants must register as members of FAI and must then register for the conference.
Yearly band memberships are $150, duos $100, individuals $70.
