Tickets Now Available for All SPARK FX Presentations
February 4, 2017
Vancity Theatre
SPARK FX is ready for liftoff on Saturday and it’s promising to be a day full of learning and entertainment.

SPARK FX is excited to continue the conversation of women in the industry with the panel "Women in VFX: Inspiring the Next Generation." Featuring Cheri Fojtik and Jenn Taylor of Image Engine along with Sue Rowe of Sony Pictures Imageworks and Zoe Cranley of Double Negative, the discussion will center on the current status of women in the VFX industry with a look ahead at what can be done to close the gender gap. This is a FREE panel!

The rest of the day is full of equally mind expanding presentations. Framestore London will be sharing insights into the creature creation for the latest Potterverse installment Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, while Industrial Light & Magic Vancouver will guide us through the Star Wars universe with a presentation on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

MPC London will be on hand to explore the challenges of bringing the jungle to life in Disney's The Jungle Book and the day will end with destruction! Namely, Rodeo FX taking us through the phases of destroying the great city of Meereen in season six of TV's most watched fantasy epic "Game of Thrones."

Tickets for the presentations are $20 each ($15 for groups of 5 or more) and are now on sale!

Online sales will close at Midnight on Friday, February 3rd!

Tickets for all of the presentations will also be available for purchase at the door on Saturday. Please note that  on-site sales is  only cash and credit (sorry, no debit).
