Pacific Contact 2023 now open for showcase submissions: apply by August 19, 2022!
The BC Touring Council is accepting applications to showcase at Pacific Contact 2023. Applications are due August 19, 2022, at 5 PM, PDT.
Pacific Contact is the Council’s annual showcase festival and conference for the performing arts. The event will present a wide variety of performances, including its traditional mainstage and 5-minute showcases. New this year will be family, outdoor, and digital showcases. Pacific Contact will also feature a gala awards dinner with live performances, interactive workshops, networking, and hospitality.
Pacific Contact will span April 13 to 16, 2023, and will take place for the first time in New Westminster at the Anvil Centre, Massey Theatre, and Eighth & Eight Creative Spaces. The conference hotel will be the Inn At The Quay, in New Westminster.
To apply to showcase at Pacific Contact 2023, artists must complete all parts of the application form. Applying to showcase requires an availability to tour British Columbia in either the 2023/24 season, or the 2024/25 season. Artists should be prepared to showcase the performance that was stated in the application. Any changes must be requested in writing, and will be reviewed by the selection committee for approval. Support materials must be submitted, and must be of the highest quality possible.
