Career Development: BC Artists - Opens Oct. 30
The Career Development program is designed to support the economic growth and career development of emerging and established artists in the areas of sound recording, marketing, and music videos, and attract national and international artists to BC to record.
Artist-entrepreneurs and music companies are eligible to apply for a grant to cover up to 50% of eligible expenses.
Career Development Program Budget: $1.7 million

APPLICATION evaluation for BC artists
Applications for Emerging and Established BC artists will be evaluated by Creative BC staff and panel of industry professionals representing a variety of genres, industry backgrounds, regions and demographics. Applications will be scored according to the priorities of the program, the economic impact of the project, and the applicant's capacity to deliver the project.
ELIGIBLE RECORDING FACILITIES
All recording activities supported by the Career Development program must take place at an eligible recording facility. Complete this form to become an eligible recording facility for the Career Development program. A list of criteria can be found on page four of the program guidelines. If you have previously been approved by Creative BC, use this form to update your details.
