VIFF Amp Music in Film Summit applications now open for 2022: apply by July 31!
Songwriters, composers, music supervisors, managers, and filmmakers are invited to apply to take part in theĀ Amp Music in Film Summit, offered by the Vancouver International Film Festival, and occurring from October 6 ā 8, 2022, in Vancouver.
The summit explores every aspect of music in visual media, from composition to song placement for film, television, advertising, and video games.
100 selected applicants will be given free entry to expertly-curated masterclasses, case studies, panel discussions, tailored networking opportunities, breakout sessions, and musical showcases. The program is designed to develop skills and create connections that can advance a career in film and television, with a focus on providing access to artists from traditionally marginalized communities.
The deadline for applications is Sunday, July 31, 2022, at 5 PM PDT.
