DATA COLLECTION
Collect and communicate information regarding clean energy sources and locations to all members of the motion picture industry.Â
COMMUNICATION
Provide communication regarding the mission of the committee to gain further support and utilize collected data to identify positive progress and unify industry wide goals.
STANDARDIZATION
Collaborate with equipment vendors, energy suppliers and industry users to ensure standardization of clean energy sources.Â
RESOURCES & TOOLKITS
Provide information and tool kits to the motion picture industry that clarify process, goals, and potential clean energy opportunities.
STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
Align our goals and commitments with federal, provincial and municipal climate action plans.
Get Involved
We, as an industry, need the support and buy-in from our industry stakeholders and communities that support our work. There are three main areas to consider:
- ON THE GROUND CREW
Crew should be empowered to ask the right questions in a timely manner about accessing clean energy. Thinking outside the box will elevate our opportunities to provide short-term solutions when on location. - PROPERTY OWNERS/MANAGERS/LIAISONS
Consider installing and providing access to clean energy options for productions, which can further elevate sustainability goals while simultaneously providing better service to the industry. - FUNDING
Permanent plug-in power kiosks across the lower mainland will provide more efficient service to sustain support vehicles and set power needs, demonstrating to the public that we are committed to green solutions.
