Diversion Zero Waste

FABCYCLE
FABCYCLE is a collection service of textile waste. We work directly with local apparel manufacturers like factories, fashion designers and schools to collect the scraps, off-cuts, deadstock and ends of rolls that are left during the apparel production process and reuse or recycle what they cannot use.
Our mission is to divert textile waste from the landfill by finding creative solutions, promoting the sustainable mindset of waste as a resource.
In February 2019, we opened the Textile Waste ReUSE Centre in Vancouver, B.C. We acknowledge that we are operating on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples: S?wx?wĂş7mesh (Squamish), StĂł:l?, ShĂshálh (Sechelt), S?l?i?lw?ta? (Tsleil-Waututh) and x?m??k??y??m (Musqueam) Nations.
The purpose of the ReUSE Centre is to provide an open and inclusive physical space for the local creative community to come together and experiment with textile waste.
We encourage artists, designers and creative minds of all skill levels, backgrounds, orientations and identities to experiment with scraps and deadstock fabric and come up with innovative and exciting ideas to divert textile waste from the landfill.

Keep it Green Recycling
Keep it Green Recycling sets up customizable zero waste programs to divert your waste from the landfill and to reduce your carbon footprint. We strive to make the recycling process clean and easy. We do this through our specialty labels on all bins. We also give a simple orientation during setup.
Our material reuse side of the business accepts reusable materials at our warehouse, and from there items are made available to the film industry, film schools, community, theatre groups, artists, and charities – for free!
KIGR started out as just a recycling company, however it has grown into one of the most successful recycling and waste management companies in the area. (It’s a big part of the film industry here in B.C.)

We’re a social enterprise (and B Corp) that exists entirely to provide food, water, and education to children globally. We do this in a partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) by funding school meal programmes globally. We are the only products in the world to bear a United Nations logo and to date have funded nearly 4 million school meals for children.
We’ve recently launched bottled water in a reusable aluminum can, addressing the backlash against single use plastic (attached, https://bit.ly/2m1mOE8). Shoppers, Loblaws, Fairmont and IKEA have listed it, and we’re speaking with 7-11, Petro, Husky, Shell and Circle K, as well as Cobs and Freshii. The interest level has been through the roof as consumers and corporations are looking to limit their single use plastic use.
